UIP Manual – The world of phlebology in your pocket
The UIP Manual of the “Union Internationale de Phlébologie” has been published since 2005, usually in annual intervals. In addition to consensus papers, the manual provides information about each of the UIP’s member organisations, its statute, board members, etc. The largest issue was published for the occasion of the Monaco 2009 annual meeting, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the foundation of the UIP. Comprising more than 300 pages, the 2009 manual put a focus on the history of the UIP and compiled consensus papers – not only the ones published by the UIP but also those of the International Compression Club.
Seit dem Jahr 2005 erscheint das UIP Manual (Union Internationale de Phlébologie) in meist jährlicher Folge. Neben den Consensus-Dokumenten werden Informationen über die einzelnen Mitgliedsorganisationen, die Satzung der UIP, die Vorstandsmitglieder etc. veröffentlicht. Der bisher umfangsreichste Band war die anlässlich des 50. Jahrestages der Gründung vorgelegte Ausgabe Monaco 2009. Mit über 300 Seiten Umfang erschien er mit einem historischen Schwerpunkt zur Geschichte der UIP und versammelte neben den bisher publizierten Consensus-Dokumenten der UIP auch die des International Compression Club.
